Can't you tell them you just <i>had</i> an operation and aren't due for another one until...never?<br /><br />Seriously, though, it sounds like you have a good handle on what's going on here. I hope the surgery goes smoothly and that you're on the mend again quickly.<br /><br />And I hope the excess gas problem will be more of a troublesome noise thing than an offense to the nostrils. Besides, now you'll be able to let rip anywhere...on the metro, at the in-laws... You'll just say, 'Sorry, can't help it. I had surgery.'
